His Majesty the Sicilian Avola Nero

Harmonium

Sicily D.O.C.

Three Cru di Nero d’Avola

Harmonium is the successful synthesis between the power of Nero d'Avola and the florriato style. The goal was to create a "Cru of Cru" that offered all the expressions of the wealth of such an eclectic grape variety. After 15 years of analysis and microvinifications, Firriato identified, in the 165 hectares of Borgo Guarini, the three different CRA of the Ferla, the hare and the woodcock, to raise screws obtained from three different massive selections of Nero d'Avola. The complexity of the pedoclimatic conditions made it possible to highlight the different organoleptic characteristics of the three single Vineyards. The Harmonium grapes are collected in different vintage eras because they have different maturations and are vinified separately to join in a blend that has made the history of this identity label.

Production area

Borgo Guarini

Borgo Guarini is an eclectic and multi-identity seal. In this agricultural context, three different soil orders have been identified: the entischi, inceptisual and vertisules. This area stands out for the complexity of climatic conditions and its orographic variety.

The great Sicilian cuvée

Each vintage of the Harmonium tells a story that is perfectly identified with the Sicilian climatic trend. From the characteristics of the soils and from the different microclimates of the Cru of the hare, the Ferla and the woodcock, wonderful bunches of Nero d'Avola are born which are perfectly identified with the different peculiarities of the Cru of origin. The separate vinification of these grapes determines, year by year,  light variations in the assembly of the blend. The sensory and qualitative analyzes follow one another intensely to be able to define the best possible balance for a wine that knows how to express, with a single grape variety, the elegance, power and pleasure of the great Sicilian reds. Harmonium is historically considered a fundamental symbol of modern Quality Oenology. A label with an authentically elegant personality that proves to be in the chalice with an impenetrable ruby red color of his mantle. Harmonious and persuasive as the name it bears as a dowry. Perfect synthesis of the florriato style
